          AskJules provide a Lifestyle Management service to clients who require 24/7 care and support.  This is a new and creative way of helping young disabled adults recruit, employ and manage Personal Assistants to provide their personal, health and social care and support.

          Summary of Service

          Recruitment: 

          Based in Wraysbury near Staines our Recruitment team will ensure we fill your vacancy with the right person and not the first person who applies. We will: -

          • Create a detailed job description from the client’s Care and Support Plan, Client Registration Form and discussions with Client.
          • Create advert copy
          • Advertise for PA/s online, in local press, university, social media etc.  
          • Monitor response and preselect applicants,
          • Hold first interviews,
          • Draw up shortlist for Client to interview.  
          • Send CV, application form and medical questionnaire on each pre-selected candidate to client for them to choose who to interview.
          • Arrange 2nd interviews with Client and Client Support Manager

          Local Client Support

          Our local Client Support Manager will be trained in the client’s care and support and will be the first point of contact for clients. 

          • Named client support provided and available 24/7.  
          • Hold / attend PA interviews with client
          • Hold PA Induction training
          • Hold PA Inhouse Manual training
          • Arrange shadowing
          • Arrange third party training where applicable. 
          • Hold client Induction training
          • Rota management,
          • Organise sickness and holiday cover,
          • Local carers available 24/7.
          • Timesheet Control,
          • Hold / attend PA Appraisals, Reviews, Disciplinary and Leaving interviews
          • Admin for starters and leavers

          Bank, Payroll & Budget Management

          • A weekly payroll service is provided by our Payroll and Finance team based in Leeds.
          • Administer new Government Pension Scheme. 
          • Manage a dedicated Barclays Client Bank Account.
          • Produce monthly management accounts including, payroll summary, cash book, funding v expenditure and balance sheet. 
          • Budget Management to ensure correct use of funds and cash flow. 
          • AskJules are agents with HMRC for PAYE. 
          • Deal with any queries from funders, clients, parents, PAs and HMRC.

          Human Resources

          Based in Leeds our HR team work closely with payroll to ensure the correct and timely administration of all of our client’s employer responsibilities, including: -

          • Taking written and where possible verbal references on chosen applicants.   
          • DBS checks on successful applicants.  
          • Sending offer letters,
          • Contracts of Employment,
          • References,
          • Create and send Client Induction booklet,
          • Create and send PA Induction and Training information packs. 
          • Set up Personnel file for each PA
          • Liaise with Employment Lawyers when required
          • Organise PA Appraisals, Reviews, Disciplinary and Leaving interviews
